INTENSIVE HOLIDAY REVISION  2012-13

CHRISTMAS, FEBRUARY, EASTER & WHITSUN REVISION

CHRISTMAS By arrangement with the students

FEBRUARY February Half term holiday

EASTER APRIL 2013
These holidays provide an opportunity for Extra Intensive Revision

specially designed for those taking their examinations in May/June 2013

Easter and Whitsun Holidays occur at a crucial stage of a candidate's examination preparation
Many students lack the self-discipline to use this time effectively, while others, though motivated, are handicapped, by a lack of professional guidance.

For most students a study of past paper questions and model answers can offer examination salvation.

The courses are intended to maximise the potential of students in their final phase of preparation.

The Christmas Holidays provided time for students doing Modular Courses in Year 12 (AS)as well as those doing resits to get some extra tuition.

The  individual attention  given to students allows for personal improvement and progress to be rapidly made.

Each student's time will be divided into hourly tutorials making it possible for students to study  more than one subject.

A very wide range of subjects is available on these Intensive Courses

Unique to us !

STUDY SKILLS COURSES

The years leading up to GCSE, AS and A Level exams are probably the most important and most difficult in the life of any student. Students have traditionally been left to muddle their way through the education maze without the skills which can make it so much easier, even enjoyable! Some make it through sheer hard work and persistance, while some unfortunately do not make it at all.

Our courses, which have been specifically designed for 14-18 year olds lays stress on the learning processes in order to make these important years easier and more productive. Our Study Skills Course is incorporated into all our Intensive Revision Tutorial Courses.
Study Skills includes:

Motivation and Memory Training

Note taking and essay writing

Time management and Revision

Examination Techniques

A booklet will be supplied to students that provides details of all the techniques and information given throughout the course. These courses are held at St.Teilo's High School (Llanedeyrn Road)
